Press Release: On 16 December, the French office of The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) organised a concert at the world-famous Duc des Lombards Club in the first arrondissement of Paris in the Les Halles district by the 24-year-old Azerbaijani pianist Isfar Sarabski – winner of the solo piano prize at the Montreux International Jazz Festival 2009. During the past three decades, the club has paid host to an array of visiting stars who perform alongside the best of French talent.


Press Release: On 14 December, The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) and the Institut de Découverte et d’Étude du Monde Musulman (IDEMM) held a symposium entitled Pelerinages Laics: France/Azerbaïdjan –modèles universels ou exemples singuliers? (Secular pilgrimages: France/Azerbaijan – models for the world, or unique examples?) chaired by Thierry Mariani, MP of French nationals from abroad and the President of the France–Azerbaijan Friendship Group in the French National Assembly.


Press Release: Modern Azerbaijan is acknowledged as a hotbed for the creative arts, and the new book The Incomplete Manuscript, in its English translation, represents the depths of imagination of one contemporary author – Professor Kamal Abdulla, Rector of Baku Slavic University. The novel was launched at the Fifth View at Waterstone’s flagship store in Piccadilly, London, on 26 November, during an event organised by The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS).


Press Release: On 20 November, more than 250 diplomats, celebrities and business people packed the Riff Art Projects gallery in the Beyoglu district of Istanbul. This edition of the Azerbaijan Through the Lens exhibition, organised by The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS), showcased 100 photographs of contemporary Azerbaijani people, culture, landscapes and architecture.


The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) serves as a networking and knowledge-sharing platform aimed at fostering business network creation, investment possibilities and strategic commercial alignments. Following the successes of 2011 and 2012, this flagship event will serve to:
