Following the successful Azerbaijan Through the Lens exhibitions in London, Paris and Berlin, featuring photographs from TEAS’ photography competition of the same name, the exhibition continues its European tour at the heart of Europe – in the European Parliament in Brussels.

On the occasion of World Refugee Day, which is observed on 20 June each year, The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) presents Philipp Rathmer’s stunning photography exhibition, entitled Five Roads Back Home.

This TEAS-sponsored charity football match is between the World Refugee Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) XI and the Arsenal Legends. Mo Farah, the Olympic Double Gold Medal Winning British Athlete, will manage the Arsenal Legends, and Fabrice Muamba, the former Bolton Wanderers footballer, will manage the World Refugee IDP XI.

These excellent photographs give an excellent introduction to Azerbaijan, showcasing many aspects of Azerbaijani life, culture, nature and history.

To celebrate Novruz, a reception will be held for the Young Azerbaijani Artists exhibition, showcasing some of the latest artworks to come out of Baku. The evening will also feature dancing, music, poetry and food and drink. The event is organised by The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UK, TEAS, the Dirchelish Youth Centre (Baku) and Azerbaijan House Culture and Friendship Centre.
