Religions in the Caucasus – Conference Highlights
More than 50 theologians, historians, academics and researchers gathered at the Hallam Conference Centre in London for the Religions in the Caucasus conference, organised by TEAS on 3–4 March. The event featured 18 academic papers presented by experts from Poland, France, Germany and Georgia, amongst other countries.
The Caucasus sits at the crossroads of some of the world’s great empires and religions. Azerbaijan is renowned for its multiconfessional tolerance, where Judaism, Christianity and Islam sit comfortably together. This video features some highlights and impressions from the event.
