Bylined as Azerbaijan Through the Eyes of International Investors, more than 100 businesspeople and diplomats from across Europe flocked to the prestigious Diamant Conference and Business Centre, near the diplomatic area of Brussels. Held at a pivotal time in EU–Azerbaijani relations, and with Azerbaijan taking centrestage due to the construction of the Southern Energy Corridor, the event attracted a varied and impressive roster of speakers.
Azerbaijan – Sport in Focus opening (Paris)
The Baku2015 European Games were celebrated during the opening of the Azerbaijan – Sport in Focus exhibition at the Maison du sport français (French House of Sport) in Paris on 4 June. The exhibition was hosted by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) and organised by TEAS France, in partnership with the Baku European Games Olympic Committee (BEGOC) and the Musée National du Sport (French National Sports Museum) in Nice.
More than 150 diplomats, sportsmen and women, sports enthusiasts and members of the Azerbaijani diaspora attended the opening, which was broadcast on L’Équipe 21 – official French broadcaster of the Baku2015 Games.
